Re: Scott Kay Line Premiering on QVC

Wondering what enhancers will look good on the bolo necklace (event priced). Maybe Bixby enhances or charms? Purchased the 18"". Will have to see what color the silver is when it arrives (shiny or oxidized).

Re: Scott Kay Line Premiering on QVC

I dipped my little toe into the Scott Kay pool of jewelry and bought the all silver bangle for $79. Affordable, looks sturdy and very well made. Should stack nicely with my other sterling bangles including John Hardy, Carolyn Pollack and some vintage Danecraft. Cant wait to see and wear this little beauty.

Re: Scott Kay Line Premiering on QVC

I really enjoyed the shows. Haven't been tempted by JAI John Hardy or Michael Dawkins pieces. Don't like all the diamonique in Judith Ripka's line. Don't have any Barbara Bixby, but have my eye on a few of her pieces. Unfortunately none of the pieces I was interested in were specially priced and they weren't on easy pay. But something about Scott Kay's pieces appealed to me...

I splurged and bought the OTO bolo bracelet. Then saw the event price of the matching necklace so got that too in the 36" length. Then saw the larger bolo bracelet that was a special price so ordered that too thinking it might layer well with the smaller one. I like the clasps on these pieces - they are pretty and not just an ugly big lobster claw clasp. It helps that I love purple too. {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

If that wasn't enough, I got the bolo link pendant necklace on waitlist. Then right before bed I got the Hagit ribbon bracelet. Darn easy pay. {#emotions_dlg.blushing}

If I end up liking the pieces I got, I'm sure I'll be back for more, as long as it's not diamonique. I liked a few of his other pieces, but don't like fake diamonds. Either give me the real deal or nothing. Hope he continues to offer just plain silver and other gemstones.

Re: Scott Kay Line Premiering on QVC

I haven't made a jewelry purchase in some time...the sterling designer pieces were getting too ornate and expensive. However, longing for a black spinel piece for awhile and made the leap yesterday and purchased the Scott Kay black spinel heart bracelet. Love the toggle look and like the fact that it is a lobster claw. IMO...more secure. Love Tiffany and how sweet she was presenting her jewelry. Very sincere.....and I wish her and her family peace in this time of mourning. This piece "spoke" to me and I look forward to receiving it. Thank goodness for easy-pay. Glad to see a fresh, new line of jewelry on QVC...was worrying that I lost my desire for jewelry...Heaven forbid, lol!

I absolutely LOVED the cross pieces and bought three pieces. I didn't find it to be overpriced at all. I didn't plan to buy anything but Bixby, but Tiffany sucked me in. Look forward to seeing more designs.

Re: Scott Kay Line Premiering on QVC

Seemed many of the pieces in Jill's show (2-4pm) completely sold out, but logged in later and Waitlisted the cross ring in two sizes and the large Bolo link bracelet.

Would love to know how the sizing runs! ...its impossible to know with rings sometimes, which size will fit.

Now with this new return policy it seems the shipping is even slower "Best Shipping" AND it will cost more money to return if the change was effective for all Designer Jewelry Day purchases.

Re: Scott Kay Line Premiering on QVC

I forgot to watch yesterday and this morning wait listed one piece. I would have bought more by the way, but in light of the new shipping and handling policy, I held back and purchased just one piece to test out the quality. I'll miss the event prices by doing this, but have no intention of placing myself in a position of having to spend so much to return.
