I'm glad to see him design a new line of pieces too! The JAI pieces I have are all sturdy and weighty with beautiful gemstones used. They blend seamlessly with my actual Hardy or Yurman pieces. My favorite JAI piece I bought from one of his presentations was the original center station gemstone necklace with the heavy box chain. It is absolutely a quality and striking piece that I feel good to wear.

The new Christian James collection is similar to JAI jewelry with carving, circle motifs and box chains. There is gemstone jewelry in blue topaz, citrine, white topaz and onyx: eternity rings and princess cut solitaires. Most pieces are offered in sterling or 14K clad. Most do not have oxidation. The new pieces have his CJ logo on them and are marked CJ SG 925. Most of them are made in Thailand but there is one made in India. They are marked UTC so are thus made by the same QVC jewelry manufacturers and not handmade.

The name he chose is very similar to the ChristianJamesCo that sells watches, sunglasses and other accessories. They have and online site.

The first collection from Scott Grimes' new line of jewelry is going to be called "Ripples". I think the pieces are going to be fascinating in a modern, flowy/wavy kind of way. Well, that's how I picture the initial pieces, anyway, having not seen any images of the items.

I wish Scott the very best in his new jewelry line launch.
