Sad Ripka Story

I have togoto a holiday party Thursday night from 6-10.I thought I would be safely home before the Judith frenzy started. Now I find out that the Monaco ring I have been waiting YEARs for is being presented at 8pm. What am I going to do?? (I would slip out of the party, but I arranged the whole thing...and have to pay the balance at the end!) Do you think the Q could, in the spirit of the holidays, be bribed to sell me one early?
