Pook--I am so sorry for your loss, but am so happy for you that you found this ring: it seems so perfect for you! Thank you for sharing your story!

I love this ring too, and I agree about sizing up.

Shawn does not do holy rolling as you put it. Shawn is a very honest and caring person, I could listen to her all day. Yes I have her ring and it means a lot of things to me. Some of what Shawn says it means to her, but most of all what I feel for my husband, and some of the things some of the others have posted.
Isn't it funny how some cruel people on this board will take any subject about Shawn and go and bash her. If you don't like her or any other host just change the channel, that's why you have that little thing called a remote.

I love wide-band rings.
I love this ring. It looks weighty too.

I have this ring. I personally would NOT recommend sizing up. I think they took into consideration the wideness of the band. I take a size 4 on my left hand ring finger and I ordered this in a size 4 and the fit is perfect.
It is extremey weighty but not at all uncomfortable.
This ring is a steal at the price it's at for the weight and craftsmanship.

To me, the phrase 'Hear My Soul Speak' means please see the real me and hear the expressions of my heart, my creativity and my intellect. Too often we look superficially and don't see the beauty of the real person.

Yes it is cruel. All that's important is the meaning it has for you. Let them continue to be cruel and see what they reap from that. You can continue to be the sentimental, caring person you are and you're better off for that

To me it means that you are crying for people to relate to you on your deeper level. There are many shallow people who claim they are your friends, but really only want to be around when you are "fun". When you experience grief and heartache, many of them disappear. From personal experience, that is what it means to me. I find it so moving and so beautiful. I think it's a cry out, both to friends and relatives.
