I just discovered this website with vintage jewelry. It looks like some of a second hand seller. If anyone has recent experience with them, good or bad, I would love to hear from you, what you bought, what was good, what was bad
@ECBG @dooBdoo @hayseed00 it looks like you may have shopped there, so maybe I can hear from you.
TIA!

@NYCLatinaMe I know several fellow antique dealers that sell jewelry and other items on Ruby Lane and they like it.
I haven't tried it as I've been on Ebay for 27 years but know a lot of buyers and sellers are pleased with that site.

I've bought from Ruby Lane a few times when looking for very specific pieces. No issues at all. Items arrived thoughtfully packaged, shipped quickly, excellent communication.
Sometimes the prices can seem a little high, but occasionally you may see some price reductions. Good site when seeking particular pieces, imo.

I've purchased vintage costume jewelry from Ruby Lane many years ago. No problems. I've known antique dealers who've sold through Ruby Lane. They certainly have a lovely selection.

Thanks @AuntMame @Zoe @rockygems123 @ECBG!
So Ruby Lane is just a marketplace like ebay, poshmark, mercari, etc.

Yes, @NYCLatinaMe, I've been a very satisfied Ruby Lane customer and also recommended it before in past discussions. It has been a while since my last purchases, but I have no reason to think the quality of the site has changed. I bought vintage jewelry and beaded purses, and vintage ceramic pieces. Also, I keep an eye on this and other resale sites for listings of one-of-a-kind pottery and jewelry, and other art, created by several dear artist friends who have passed away, to be sure listings don't misrepresent them, and I've never discovered a problem on Ruby Lane. I'm not sure why it's not mentioned here on the Community more often with the other sites (such as eBay or Etsy, for example). Happy shopping! 😊

Thanks @dooBdoo and @rockygems123. I did run across some special pieces, and decided to ask before I waded in. They seem to have some unique jewelry. Maybe being less known is better for those of us that like unique items.

@NYCLatinaMe I've purchased many vintage bracelets from Ruby Lane and haven't had any problems. Found some real beauties.
