Ripka and thin posts - Please rethink decision.

I ordered from Ripka's January visit the beautiful blue topaz and pearl earrings J2611515. They were well over $200. I own many many wonderful Ripka earrings. Why in the world are QVC and the Ripka Organization skimping on the posts. The posts on J261515 are thinner than my other Ripka earrings. Skimping on the posts was a bad decision by QVC and the Ripka Organization. I love the earrings, but now I have to decide whether to keep them and risk having the post break off. The earrings would then be unusable to me. I am disappointed as the earrings are postively stunning! QVC and the Ripka Organization, please rethink your decision about making the posts thinner on Ripka earrings. Go back to the thicker posts. Thanks for your consideration.
