Ripka Turquoise Astor Satchel Question

I have problems carrying a heavy purse (tendonitis), and was wondering if the Ripka Astor Satchel is heavy to carry. I would carry it as a handbag (not with the shoulder strap). Also, if you have the turquoise version, could you tell me how you like the color. Also, tell me what you think of the purse. I'm not working because of a disability, so I would like an every-day purse (not just for special occasions).
