Hi, Sunshine! Think about reselling them! There are "needy" Ripkanistas out there like me!
i have offered them for FREE before, but no one took me up on the offer. not sure i have any left in my box stash or not, but if i find some i will page you......i get rid of them all....RLM, barbara bixby, michael dawkins, ripka, etc....

My necklace came beautifully packed in bubble wrap, then in zip-lock baggies which were inside a large velvet snap pouch. I suppose it is a personal preference, but I like the variety of pouches with snaps for traveling. To me the necklace presentation boxes just took up too much space, and since the lids were domed, they were difficult to stack. But they were nice, and I understand why you like them so! I agree that Q should offer a choice on packaging.

I agree with smarty. I actually do not like the large presentation box because no matter how it was placed in the snap holders or with foam over it, necklaces tend to get tangled and take too much of a beating in the shipping process. It was a large box with a large green pouch and i use those pouches. Also, I was very pleased that although all of it was together that they wrapped the pearls, then the metal, then the toggle all with bubble wrap and plastic bags. That is more important to me. I think we saw the last of those large boxes because of the cost and cost of shipping.
Weatherfield...I am sorry that this spoiled it for you, but it is a trememdous piece and I hope that you will give it a chance.

I felt the same way about no presentation box. I ordered the 14kt clad dew drop necklace that was a little under 400.00 and no presentation box. Mine was in a pouch and that was it and it was crammed in there, half in and half out. My stones were cloudy at first, I am supposing due to the cold, but they presented themselves bright and beautiful shortly thereafter. I was so disappointed about no presentation box. That is how I store my nicer pieces.

Hi, Waterbaby! Definitely keeping the piece! Just commenting on the packaging. Love my Ripka collection and get it all out to admire all together whenever she is on. I saw the beautiful pictures that you posted for the necklace and I have to agree with the one Ripkanista who said that she expected the pearls and the links to be larger. I did too, but still really like the necklace. I put the Ripka bracelets and rings into silver keeper jewelry folders, watches into watch boxes with glass top window that hold multiples, but the special necklaces I like to keep in the domed presentation boxes. They take up space but these pieces deserve it! Sounds like you have a great collection that you enjoy too. Thanks for sharing!

I've received dozens of those boxes and have never had one arrive crushed. I think the OP was exaggerating. I actually stepped on one that was on the floor and it was undamaged.
Hi Kachina! Not exaggerating at all, my boxes are arriving crushed (not destroyed) but I don't really care about them except for the necklaces (and the important bracelets if I owned any of those!
). They are being squashed into my mailbox which is possibly where it's happening, maybe yours is bigger or maybe you get less junk mail. Anyway, I understand your comment about feeling guilty. The outer boxes for the jewelry are also lovely and I can't part with them even though I don't use them...so I save them and use them when I gift jewelry of any brand, but I have a shopping bag full of them laying around.

I didn't realize that the dew drop came without the box. I bought one on eBay and didn't receive the box, but I thought that the seller just kept it. I begged my sister to give me one of her presentation boxes so mine has a nice home. Do you have a sister?

We were told over and over again that there would be an instruction booklet. There was not one in my package. How about the rest of you? Mine did not come in a presentation box either. Just a large Ripka pouch.
