After weeks of battling the crud germs, here are the reviews from that visit.
I ordered both Aurora cuffs and the cherry necklace.
Almost as soon as I ordered them I regretted my decision. While I have both opal Aurora cuffs, and love them madly, I am not crazy about that much purple. I kept going back to the pics & video to look to make a decision. And then I got sick and these cuffs were not top priority. I went online finally to cancel them, but apparently, in my stupor, cancelled only the average one. The wide cuff arrived this past week. While absolutely lovely, it was much too purple and silvery for me. I sent it back.
The cherry necklace arrived here much sooner than anticipated. It is gorgeous and, if I had unlimited funds, I would keep it. But I compared it to my half a dozen or so high end gold necklaces which have huge impact and presence, and I realized that this cherry necklace would end up being a treasure in the drawer. I hardly wear, or have the occasion to wear, these fabulous 14K & 18Knecklaces. What chance did the cherry necklace have. So it went back as well.
Here are the rest of the things I purchased:
Green Goddess Ring - This just arrived the past week and it is a winner through and through. The setting and presentation for the doublet gem is superb; just elegant refinement. The DMQ is a teeny tiny amount, just a little something something. The gold color is spot on classic 14K and is beautiful. And the green - well, it just glows from your finger. It is wonderful.
Marquise Bracelet, champagne - I now own all three colors, I love this bracelet that much. It is a real bargain price, especially considering that this is old style presentation, with lots and lots of silver and the elegant clasp to boot. Three loves!
Mabe Pearl link bracelet - I have coveted this bracelet since the first time it appeared online. I do not think it was ever presented. There were 6 EPs attached during this visit so I took the plunge. As first glance it was everything I expected and then much more; it fit like a dream. The pearls were glorious. And then I looked more closely and found that the gold varied in its color from faded out to almost red. So disappointed, but I had no choice but to send it back. No reorder.

earrings &
ring - There was no excitement as I opened these packages. The impact was one of "Blah!". For me there was no real presence to this collection so they were returned pronto.
Eclipse ring &
earrings - Holy cow, are they beautiful! Unfortunately, the earrings, pierced, killed my ears from the very moment I put them on; they were too tight. I had that problem with two out of three ombre earrings and had to get them correctly at the local jewelers. I did not want to go that route with these, so they went back. I kept the ring and it is glorious in its color and the design element. I did take solace that I purchased, from the Ripka web site, turq earrings the same week.
Band ring - Again nice but looked too much like what I already have. Returned.
Adventurine 20" necklace - What a winner and so versatile. Gems are glorious and you get a lot of impact for little money.
TSV bangles - LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!!! Weighty, beautifully carved, feels great on. I saw that the reviews are so great, and I haven't read to find out why. I think these are fab and fairly priced.
YG clad bangles - Got these to play along with the TSV, but I've kept them separate after all. Just wonderful carving and DMQ.
Heart link bracelet - I love pearls & MoP so this was on my list for a while. Went on clearance so I jumped on it. The carving of the MoP is spectacular and the whole piece looks so wonderful on your wrist. Love it!
Heart turq ring - No DMQ and great turq. All the carving that we've come to love. Fab!
Estate stacking rings - I got these in a different size when they were three. Just beautifully done and quite a bargain price I think.
