Just an update on a couple of returns, one was a JR ring and the other the recent TSV Oreck vacuum. As a rule, I don't use the return labels because past experience with them was a looooooooooooooong wait until the items were received back at the Q. So, I usually take the item to the counter and pay up front 1st class, which is the same delivery time as priority but cheaper, and my items have always arrived within the 3 to 5 day window. BUT, I had to use the Q labels this time because I didn't have anyone to help me get to the post office, and the Q set it up for the USPS to come to the house and pick the items up the next day. About 3PM, they still hadn't arrived so I phoned the local office to find out why the carrier hadn't arrived and they provided the number for the carrier station. When I phoned the carrier station, they phoned the carrier on his cellphone, and had him come back to my home and pick up the items. Long story short, the items arrived at the Q within 6 days and I'm now awaiting to see what the time frame is for the refund to be processed through the Q. I must say, that this has been the best return thus far using their preprinted labels. So, after reading some of the horror stories, I advise that you find out the station where your carriers are working from, get the number, phone them for a pick-up, and that may make the process much better. It also leaves a trail of responsibility that you can check up on when an item seems to be taking quite some time. You should see the package checking in at you local office and then you'll be able to see where the problem is along to return trip. I would have to say that if packages are getting snagged in the same mail facility, that that is where the problem needs to be brought to the Q's attention. Hopefully, this works just as well for everyone else and makes the return process a little less easier and stressful. Meanwhile, I'm anxiously awaiting my new JR items from the past show! Pug
