Returning Defective Jewelry

I just got my 2nd Michael Dawkins MOP bracelet in the mail. I was so delighted that it seemed to be brand new with no strange "return" code! I couldn't believe my eyes. Each MOP stone in the bracelet had huge black marks. I've never seen anything like this on MOP, but now ... how do I ensure I am not going to have to pay return postage for this thing????? Do you ladies just mark "defective" on the return slip or what??? Thanks.
