Received My Gold Rush Hot Pick Hoops Today...

I'm on the fence about them. They're very lightweight, but actually not as featherweight as I thought they might be. I got the 7/8" diameter set. The double-hoop style makes them sit more perpendicular to my face than I prefer. The wire from the snap-bar closure sticks out past the the "v" notch a good 1/2" or so, so when I talk on the phone, they really jab me in the cheek. That's not a deal-breaker, but just kind of one more reason that I'm not totally in love with them. For basically $166, I feel like I should love them if I'm going to keep them. I'm kind of bummed, because I really thought these would be the ultimate go-to set of gold hoops for me.

Can anyone tell me which way these are supposed to be worn? There is a left and a right, but I can't tell which way they should go. I've tried them on both ways, but neither way seems quite right. Anyway, I guess I'm a little under-whelmed with these. They're pretty, but I don't think I like the way they look on me. {#emotions_dlg.blushing}
