Ross Simons is having one heck of a clearance. I promised no more jewelry for me, but couldn't pass up tiny huggie hoops with lab grown diamonds for under $200.

I just bought two pairs of heart studs - one 18K solid gold the other ruby.  I love their jewelry.

I still buy on occasion 18K there. But not often 18K is about triple the 14K.  Most purchase earrings or thin rings.  That's all you're can afford.  My weakness is 18K bracelets.  By the way, even lab grown diamonds are getting pricey.  Now they pair them with silver.  Gold (especially 18K) demands natural diamonds.

@songbird ... I love 18kt gold.   I try to buy several pieces every time we go to visit family in Italy

I've bought their 10K gold too - it's beautiful.

It took me a while to accept 14K as actual gold.  It's not really considered gold in Italy. 10K gold is laughable there. And many never heard of it.  Gold is actually cheaper now in Italy. (tariff )

@songbird ... I agree with you 💯 percent.  I prefer 18kt gold over 14kt.  18kt is the standard in Italy.   I always buy some jewelry when we go to Italy to visit my cousins. Would never purchase 10kt gold.   IMHO it's not gold.
