Maybe he likes working with this different product. Didn't see him on for ages. Two things he made I got years ago, I still wear 1 a lot.

Host mentioned the reason for using bronze instead of silver...cost! Once again! Cutting corners doesn't mean profits. Purist I want silver. Why? Qvc? Please, Some of us would gladly pay. Thank you.

I can understand maybe making jewelry content changes regarding gold.....but i didn't think silver has had such a increase in value that now costume, bronze, brass, etc.

has to be used....

I checked on line this morning to see what was available in his early morning show.  There was the tablet ring that I'm still kicking myself for never buying when it was available in sterling.  I don't see why HIS line had to be downgraded to bronze; there are so many much more expensive lines they could have chosen.  I doubt the choice was his.

On point! Robert seemed different, Not like years past. Business of behind the scenes often probably sucks the spirit of joy away. The ring I own couture 400.00 plus worth every penny. Grateful and take pleasure not only wearing also tactile enjoyment->solid silver.😍

I have to add my two cents worth.  I have several of his silver pieces from the past and wear them often.  I bought a pair of bronze earrings from his line.........I am sorry, but they were pure junk.  The tarnish factor is one reason......not like silver, because I was unable to make it look nice again.  Actually, it never really looked that nice to begin with.  I should have returned them.

I wish he would/could bring back silver pieces again.  Other designers do, but his style offers something that the other designers don't.  I don't care for the other stuff.....too ornate, too, too LOL  BUT hey, to each their own and my choice WAS RLM.

QVC is hurting themselves by phasing out so many of the good designers - not just jewelry, but clothing, also.  JMHO

ITA!!!!!! I stated this very same thing in a similiar post several months ago. I wish QVC wouldn't dumb down EVERY line!!!!! especially this one. PLEASE QVC HAVE RLM continue his line in real silver. I too have several older pieces of his in REAL silver and they are far superior to the "junk" (IMHO) that's on line in bronze from his line.

RLM has been using bronze for several years.  Others who tried bronze have gone back to silver.  He wants silver prices for his bronze but I'm not buying.  I guess it's better than the brass he was using which tarnished in me in a matter of a few hours.

He has reduced his line to the category of costume jewelry.

Sterling silver is not that expensive that I want to accept substitutes.

I purchased one of his brass pieces a few years ago, it tarnished almost immediately and I never wear it now.  I don't want jewelry that looks like my fireplace poker!!!
