Question on Diamonique Colored Stone Rings

I have never bought any diamonique.  I am looking at two rings in silver with multiple colored cz, for granddaughters in their 20's.

Do the colored stones have any sparkle or shine?  Do they change in appearance over time?

I certainty don't expect any one to do my research but I don't know how to post pics.  The rings are J364648 and J364651.

Opinions would be appreciated.

Re: Question on Diamonique Colored Stone Rings

I have a diamonique ring with ruby colored stones and they are wonderful! Yes, they sparkle and shine. They do not lose that luster, either. I've worn the ring in swimming pools, washing dishes, at the beach, at work, doing yard work, etc. Also, diamonique rings do not look like the cubic zirconia rings you'll see in big box stores, either. The quality is amazing. I think your grand daughters would love the gift!

A loving gesture that you want to gift your granddaughters with a piece of jewelry.  Have they seen and selected these items?  If so, I would go for it.  If not, (and this is just a personal opinion) most twenty-year olds I know might prefer something with a more artisan feel to it like jai, carolyn pollock, American West, Barbara Bixby, or Oro Paz.  I'm sure they whatever you purchase will be treasured as a gift from their grandmother.

Re: Question on Diamonique Colored Stone Rings

Thank you both for your input.

I won't be afraid of the look and quality now.

And I agree with the artisan comment.  That is more to their current dressing/accessory habits.  I have given a couple of the really unusual JAI pieces to the younger one and she wears both of them frequently.

These would both be for spring birthdays, so no time crunch, but the items are both on sale today.  So I'm still pondering.  Sometimes I lean toward "if I have to ask, the answer is likely No."

I really appreciate your quick responses.

Re: Question on Diamonique Colored Stone Rings

Heyyyyy @MandyG06  it’s nice to see you here today. I’ve not been around much but wanted you to know I received the rings for my daughters after seeing your lovely pic and was so pleased with them.  Love how they sparkle !!  I immediately ordered two more - one for myself and one for the gift pantry and it’s a good thing I did cause they’re sold out now.

You can give me recommendations any time.  Keep enjoying all your shopping and no doubt the joy you bring others.

Going back quite a few years, at least 10, maybe more, I purchased a diamonique tanzanite colored center stone & clear diamonique stones on both sides ring. To this day it sparkles and looks new and it's one of my favorite rings. The diamonique tanzanite color is still richer than 2 quite expensive rings I have with real tanzanite & real diamond stones.

That's quite a testimonial.  Thank you!

My only issue now is would they like it.  They both tease me (in a very loving way) about my pearls.

Re: Question on Diamonique Colored Stone Rings

I think it's risky to gift someone in their 20's Diamonique unless they choose it themselves. My sister told me she gifted her 20 year old niece a Carolyn Pollack ring and she never saw it on her and she never mentioned that she liked it.

I have come to the conclusion that you're correct.

That was my worry when I asked for opinions.
