Quality lapis jewelry

I have had a hard time finding lapis jewelry that rivals the quality of my older pieces. I like lapis when it's a glowing royal blue with small gold flecks, and polished stones. I have ordered a number of pieces recently from various websites and have had to return all of them because they were too dark, dull or cloudy. Anyone have any luck or recommend any vendors/websites? Or is lapis availability diminishing?
