I would love to see some nice costume jewelry earrings. I've gotten some all gold ones and they BORE me. It's almost like you've seen one you've seen all. I want some nice big dangle ones with fishhooks...never will I buy one that have the post with the thing on the back. I have a boxful of earrings that have no match to them any more. What a waste. I'll take a nice wellmade costue jewry anytime.

You may want to look on ebay, lots of quality costume jewelry earrings. And even if vintage they may be in mint pristine never worn condition.
Vintage designer earrings can be great quality and often made in the US.

It REALLY is OK to wear mismatched earrings. Then, they are no longer "boring"...

@nzwyck. QVC has too. much boring jewelry period. They are showing rings just like they showed 25+ years ago.
They not only need new jewelry, they need to retire some buyers.

Overpriced and "old lady"

I more or less switched to gold earrings versus costume a while back, but I do like big and bold if possible, as I have long hair.
Non-boring QVC Earrings I would definitely consider wearing (priced low to high):

One of the reasons it's been quite easy for me to stop buying jewelry for the last ten years is that no matter where I look I'm reminded I probably have something similar already in my house. I live near plenty of shopping choices, but unless I want to spend thousands (not happening), nothing is all that different from what I bought in the past.
I wear very little jewelry now, but if I hit a need I'd try a local thrift shop first. They have massive costume collections for very little plus some better or truly vintage pieces in locked cases.

@nzwyck I have found my best costume jewelry finds at yard sales, etc. Sometimes there are "real pieces" there that the owner didn't know was genuine and priced it for under $5!

@nzwyck Funny you should mention - a few days ago I perused the Steel by Design line. There are some fun designs in this grouping. I bought actually a link bracelet for my sister's upcoming birthday in the spring, and a set of three oval hoop earrings, graduated in size.
Inexpensive fun jewelry vs today's very expensive pieces that I can't afford = FUN!

@Kachina624 I completely agree. The amount of mundane and boring jewelry offered is just amazing. I look elsewhere for jewelry if I'm going to buy.
