It has occurred to me that 3 out of the last four QVC necklaces 14 and 18kt gold clasps have broken for no other reason other than having inferior and too small clasps.
I don’t wear the same necklace day-after day. These break on the second or third and sometimes first wearing, simply because they are INFERIOR QUALITY. Frankly, I‘m ticked off as I just tried to wear one 14 kt and gemstone necklace (item j151507) for the second time (purchased in Feb 2011). I’m now being told by customer NO service there is ‘nothing that they can do about this‘. I have to say this is sooo wrong if I would have purchased this item at any other retailer they would have offered some sort of concession. This item has been reduced since I purchased it and now I would have to spend maybe $50 dollars to get another working clasp installed on it. I spend a lot of money QVC and I do not find this an acceptable way to treat customers. Yes, we all know they have a 30-day return policy, yet that doesn’t mean that rules can’t be adjusted in certain circumstances. We need to let the buyers and management know we will not accept these inferior and faulty clasps on our jewelry.
