Years ago I brought a diamonique ring that was set in 14Kt gold,the price tag stated that and the sales person told me so. I should have returned it because there was no marking inside the ring and it was a funny "gold" color. I didn't feel like driving 45 minutes to the store with the cost of gas and all. Recenly I took alot of my jewerly to sell. This ring was rejected because it was not gold some sort of metal.

Buyers beware.
