I bought the Jai box chain necklace and bracelet several years ago. I was going to wear them and both are badly tarnished. Does anyone else had this problem and do they guarantee their items. Thanks.

@Shelbi    There's nothing wrong with you pieces.  It's a natural process, unless protected, silver tarnishes.  All you have to do is get a treated silver polishing cloth (a Sunshine Cloth does a great job) and shine it up.  Then keep in an anti-tarnish or airtight container.

@Shelbi  Some of what's perceived as tarnish is the natural oxidation which will darken over time. Agree w/ @Kachina624 . A sunshine cloth should do the trick...no soaking or silver polishes.

JAI will be selling an own brand jewelry polishing cloth later this month. You’ll probably see it during JAI’s hours in the silver sale event.  

I use the sunshine cloths. They’re pretty good.
