Help!!

Have J11264, which I ordered in 'o7. I have worn it once or twice. My order was because of the healing properties of the gem, however, it has been in my LG jewelry box since - untiil - this morning, which I took it out to wear.

My conundrum is that the magnetic closure will NOT release, thus the HELP! If I pull the necklace with any more force than I have, my fear is that the stringing cord will break. This is the first time I have had any problem with magnetic closures. My issue is a warning as well as a question, for those of us who utilize the magnetic closure out of convenience.

Because the 5 Yr. warranty has expired, it is no longer covered. QVC is unable/unwilling/whatever to give me a PV contact, and my on-line search has been unsuccessful. I have left a message for a QVC call back from a supervisor, which I can only hope will provide an element of success with a contact, resulting in a solution. Meanwhile, this morning (4/3/12) I plan to take the piece to a jeweler, seeking a local solution.
