Re: Paul Deasy moving to HSN

I enjoy seeing them together. I have a nice carnelian. Necklace with a removable pendant. I have a nice mesh necklace from Judy and i also have a nice sleeping beauty and amethyst ring. Happy with my pieces. HSN does need new vendors. Paul's pieces are different from Jays. I think he will do well there. Its nice when a vendor leaves you can find them and still enjoy their pieces. So glad Victoria is on Evine I was shocked when she left HSN. Now she is included on the remotes which are nice shows.

@Pook.  Although I've heard Paul brag about everything else under the sun, I've never heard him claim to be a graduate gemologist.  I'm sure he'd mention it on an hourly basis if he was one.  It's supposed to be a difficult course.

Notice also that he never mentions who designs and manufactures his jewelry.  In my mind, I see him at trade shows in Asia buying trays of premade jewelry.  I can't see him trooping through the jungle, getting hot and sweaty.  Hes so full of hot air, its hard to discern the truth.

So, that would explain why HSN is currently selling jewelry under the label, “Joya” on “Designer Gallery With Colleen Lopez” right now.

That is a different Joya line that has been on HSN, different vendor. Judy is staying at Evine

Just no end to the 'musical chairs', er, 'musical vendors'... Over time, it seems like most of these vendors make the full ciruit... At some point, the home shopping networks might actually realize they need some fresh ideas...

Re: Paul Deasy moving to HSN

Well, I like them both, and I'd be really happy to see them again on HSN or QVC.  Judy was always so well informed and so professional while she was on QVC.  I met her once while my DH and I were having dinner in West Chester. She was so sweet, really friendly and warm. She was on her way to work, so we went back to the hotel and watched her on QVC.  I think she's great, both as a person and as a host.

Re: Paul Deasy moving to HSN

Watched both on other shopping channels, but never purchased.  Paul & Judy appear to be very personable, but for their jewelry...looks a little "costumey" especially the turquoise ... I am spoiled with American West turq. and silver.

I have enjoyed Judy as a host since her fiasco with Jeff H. and wish her the best trying to sell her Joya line on HSN too (not my taste but I'm sure it's a favorite of her fans).

Re: Paul Deasy moving to HSN

Paul started on HSN while Judy started on QVC. Paul came over to QVC and he and Judy got married. They ended up on HSN for a while and then over to Evine. I would think that it is not necessary to live in the midwest if you only have a few shows per year. In any case coming back to HSN is a good thing, especially since HSN and QVC are now one. It will be good to have an additional selection of jewelry.

He’s on HSN now.
