That is great news about your knees and thanks for the link-alot of aging athletes in the family so it is good to know about new treatments. My dad had both hips replaced and is still playing tennis at 77 yrs old. I am sorry that your son is not well; I know that is more of a burden than your own problems.

We moved from the deep south to the mid south 4 months ago. I had to retire because the move was for my husband's job. We love the area (Smoky Mts.) but it seems as if we brought the Gulf coastal weather with us. I am still waiting for a cool breeze to head this way.

I feel just the same as you; I miss the comraderie we had on the forum when the jewelry we love was resonable and everyone was posting. I know the Bixby forum elsewhere took a few familiar voices away. I guess the rest are like us, choosing our additions to our collections very carefully due to rising costs and trying to avoid too much temptation. Like you, I am thankful for the collection that I have. I was buying in earnest the two years before I retired because I knew I wouldn't have the same jewelry budget. I am hoping to find something part time to keep myself busy and perhaps afford to add a piece to my collection once in awhile. Even so the quality is not what it used to be and I also find I am wearing my older pieces from 4 or 5 years ago and continue to be amazed at the workmanship and the prices we paid.

It was so good to see your post today. I like to read a few topics but not near as much interests me in the direction that things have taken in the jewelry offerings.
