i just sold a batch of unwanted gold jewelry to us goldbuyers. i can't tell you what fast and efficient service i received from them. i had several baggies weighted out for awhile and decided to go for it 2 weeks ago. i emailed them and got the info emailed back to me immediately plus a follow up phone call to make sure i had no other questions. on a friday i took it to fedex.... i missed the plane out and so it was sent at 6am monday. monday afternoon at 3pm i received a call with my offer...that was very fast! i estimated i had between $12,-13,000. i was offered $12,600 which i accepted. the check was put in the mail right away but i was told it would go out early tuesday morning. i received it thursday morning. i live in central PA which is right on for first class delivery from NYC. the gentleman who called me with the offer was very nice and wanted to make sure i understood everything.

while i had him on the phone i mentioned the problem some folks here had trying to sell eternagold. i told him a number of folks were told it was not 14k gold when they went to sell it and it actuallt is supposed to have above the minimum for 14k. he thought a moment and asked if anyone had problems with it at us goldbuyers... i said i had never heard that complaint. his guess was that folks who take their gold to the neighborhood jewelry store or even a small bench goldsmith have this issue. he explained that they most commonly use an acid test to determine the content of the piece. smelters like us goldbuyers use a machine... he told me the name but i forget! it was like using gas chromotography which i am familiar with and it was exact to three decimal points whereas an acid test was not exact at all. this makes sense to me and explains the discrepancy in experiences some folks have had.

i really can't say enough good things about this company. i'll use them again with no hesitation..... luvie
