I bought my first 2 Or Paz pieces last week and they arrived today.

The first is the OTO labradorite ring. J270167. First time I have seen labradorite in person. The color of the two stones is okay, but one stone has a bubble on it you can feel and the silver around it was not done well. The silver in the overall ring has pitting and actually is just dark and dirty looking that it looks like a ring I pulled out of a junk drawer. It is going back.

The second item is also a OTO. Sleeping beauty turqoise toggle bracelet. J269898. This is my first time with sleeping beauty turquoise and it is a very pretty stone. I always see sleeping beauty pieces sell out quickly and are usually quite high in price because of the rarity nowadays of sleeping beauty and I thought this bracelet was priced well given those circumstances. The stones have no matrix and are a pretty glowing blue. The color looks nice against the fading tan I have going on now. The bracelet as a whole is fine. I was expecting bright silver and it is not. It is grey and has an old, worn look to it which makes me wonder how quickly it will tarnish even if I store it in a tarnish safe drawer. Because of the quality of the workmanship in the labradorite ring I wonder about the glue that is holding the sleeping beauty stones in. Will it last? The silver is not holding the stones in so it must be glue. The bracelet fits well and is comfortable. I had to finagle the toggle to get it to link, but that is fine. Don't want an easy to undo toggle. I am trying to decide on this bracelet and get used to the idea it's not bright white silver. It definitely has the handmade look to it and I do like the color of the stones. It seems to be made better than the ring. I have it on now to see if it grows on me. I don't have a sleeping beauty ring but I tried it on with my larimar ring and even though not the same stone, the colors are similar enough to wear them together. Right now I am leaning toward keeping the bracelet. I just have to get used to the look of it since it is not my usual style.
