I may regret it but I just bought Item in the first photo.  The price break was too good to miss but I am going to be uneasy until it arrives and I see it.   Since the package will come in my name, it should be safe from prying eyes.  GF will just think I purchased a race car part.  Man Wink

What a nice friend you are, OP! Smiley MSN Emoticon heart 024.gif

I had to come back and state this.  No diamonds are not my best friend but they are not suppose to be.  I can say anyone that does not love a furbaby has never had one.  BTW the initials IG make me think of our IGGY that is so precious.  Through time I will mention a few breeds because through life each child was allowed their own chose of which dog they wanted as long as they were rescues.  We do have one that was not a rescue.  My motto is don't shop but adopt.

The peach and pink colors in the second ring clash.  I'd never put them together in the same piece.

I thought the second setting was fresher and more unique, and I would not personally be concerned about "clash" BUT I think the first one is beautiful too.

I like them both.  I have a 6 carat morganite and I love it although I don't wear it very often.  That's quite a large stone in that ring.  Let us know how the ring is when you get it - hope it's everything you anticipate and more.

Hi!  I prefer the first one as well.  Do let us know how she likes it!  (How do I get on your Christmas gift list, BTW?? Woman LOL)  I love simple designs, and this one is similiar to a morganite ring I had custom made last year.  I sourced the stone separately (13.07 ct., 16x12 mm) and had it set in 18k rose gold with about 1.50 ct. diamonds.  I love anything in the peach, coral, and orange color families!

Where are you going to wear the ring you purchased?
