They're kind of gaudy, don't you think?

These could be gaudy. That is why I wanted advice.  Is it possible to go large without being gaudy.    My girlfriend is only missing a few stones from her collection  She does not have the lessor quality of one with some peach tone.   She did inherit a pink morganite but it is kept in a lockbox with her other better quality stones. She likes large rings  and bracelets.

I was worried that the 2nd Morganite ring would not be large enough and probably was not looking at if it was gaudy.Guess you can see why I need help!  Also I was worried about the 1st ring being pave set versus prong set.  Is pave set stones ok to have?

Items numbers are 148-576 and 149-704 at the E network.

That can afford at this time or maybe a slight bit higher with 2 girls in college.

Too guady?   Ha ha  that is what I thought about some of the Heidi something she wears often.   I guess I alike small and dainty.  Shh...I probably agrree with that statement on most jewerlry she wears but she always ends up looking charming.  Smiley Very Happy

I like the first one too. It looks more elegant to me.

I like the first one better, also.  You can always return it if you don't like it.

Morganite is a beautiful stone.

Don't know if this is synthetic or a real gem, but I think it would be better without all the surrounding stones.

Thanks so much for your advise.  I trust the advice you share since you have much more knowledge on quality and style than I do.

The video is on E V I N E.   The 1st one is clearance priced at slightly above $1000 with about 1/2 and retail of around $2,500.   This sounds like a deal but it is not a deal if it looks terrible.

I think it is worth a look see.and an appraisal from a local jeweler.   BTW...yes I am going to get a piece of Chaco Canyon (sp?) for her also for the holidays. TOO MANY girls and I have to get my shopping done.  As in too many girls in the family and not TOO many girlfriends.  ROFL.

I agree.  After looking at rings for months, the morganite continues to draw me to it.  It reminds me of a Princess.  Maybe I feel this way being father to daughters that like pinks, peach, and purple.
