OT/ Tinnitus In Ear

Do any of you suffer from tinnitus, ringing or other sounds in ear, with a sort of beating at times? I went to an ENT doctor on Monday with clogged ears. My nose is also stuffed. He removed wax but not an excessive amount. In the past I've had this symptom but not as long and as annoying as in the last several days. The doctor told me to take Allegra daily and I've I also begun Flonase spray. If this doesn't help he wants me to go for an MRI of the brain and ears!!
