Okay, I've given Kappy enough time to get settled at home, drink her cup of tea, read her newspaper, she did her wash this morning because she was up at some ungodly hour..........

I, along with Mayaperi, met Floss & Philyfan at Penn Station. Since Floss & Philyfan traveled on the same train as Kappy & NewJerseyGirl & 6 others from the Philly/Jersey area (sorry ladies, but I forgot your names here & don't want to use your "real" names, they were waiting at Penn Station for a while. Like the troopers they are, they walked around & did a little shopping!

The weather is New York today was delightful....a bit on the chilly side if you weren't in the sun & a bit blistery, but no rain, no snow.....all was good. Kappy & NewJersey Girl ventured over to the store before us......Kappy just HAD to get a jump on us in looking at the cases full of beauties (keeping fingers crossed that some of those beauties wind up in the Q's inventory!!!).

Back to Penn Station.........we were also supposed to meet another Long Islander, but she had a mishap BEFORE she even left the house. Her charm bracelet broke & needless to say, her charms went flying. Somehow or other, she left her cell phone home & all our calls as to "where are you" went directly to voice mail!!! Soooooooooo

Mayaperi, Floss, Phillyfan & myself, jumped into a cab & went to the Party!!!! The food was delicious........waiters & waitresses walking around with delicious goodies. Tuna ta ta & I believe, chicken salad, the likes of which you haven't ever had before. Terrimisu (sp), chocolate covered strawberries, tarts, wine, champagne, Perrier, coffee, tea, water........you name it, it was there.

Beth was there, with a bad cold, refusing to get near anyone, but still managed to look beautliful decked out in Ripka. Allison & Brian were there, along with their children (can't believe how they've grown since the Live Audience show). They truly are a beautiful family! Judith's other sons were there as well & just as good-looking as Brian! And last, but not least, Ron......looking quite handsome himself. OMG, I can't believe I almost forgot our Judith!!! I'm sure I don't have to tell you how wonderful she looked. She truly is an amazing person. I can't even describe the jewelry she was wearing....but can only hope we get the Q version (did you hear me Judith????).

A few of us did buy a bunch of stuff.....NYCLady got a beautiful pair of earrings. If they only had the omega backs & think I would have asked to try them on......& then left!!!! Just beautiful. Wear them well!!!! And let me not forget NewJerseyGirl, whom I did not recognize because she was not wearing her favorite PINK!!!!

It was wonderful to see Jojo & Mr. Jojo (our only male Ripkanista). They lost everything in the storm, & I mean everything, but made their way to the Party. They are truly unbelievable people......having gone & are going through so much. He is also our resident photographer. Can you imagine, with everything they are going through, he remember to bring his rescued camera & take pictures of all of us. He promised to send the pictures to JSMB....pictures to be posted on her blog when she's feeling better.

Laura Geller was there with Dr. Dennis Gross, dermatologist. I must tell you that Laura Geller is just wonderful. We had a blast with her. Since she was getting a little jealous of us just being Ripkanistas fans, we included her in a fan-base!!!

We were there for a few hours, & sadly, it was time to leave. As we were leaving, we got two goodie bags......one from JR & another from Dr. Gross. In Judith's, we got her nail polish from Essie, the Juliet heart on a string, & a product from Vanessa Williams skin-care line. In Dr. Gross' bag, we got "Spackle" from Laura Geller, a peel & a lightner from Dr. Gross! We left looking like well dressed bag ladies!!!!

We were finally able to get a cab.........& off the Penn Station we went. Mayaperi & I ran for our train, which was schedule to leave in 3 minutes! We made it.......so what Mayaperi thought our train was leaving on one track, which wasn't there. We had to hike back upstairs to the scheduling board.....found the right track & off we ran! WE MADE IT!!!

And now, I'm unwinding & getting ready for the show tomorrow. Since I did damage today at the store, on-line at the Q & another source......I think I'll just be watching!!!!

I'm sure Kappy's description of today will be much more detailed.........but, I think I ran on enough......
