Nicky Butler bronze pieces - any reviews on the bronze?

I am a long-time collector of Nicky Butler sterling jewelry and have some lovely older pieces made when everything completely handcrafted. I've avoided the newer bronze pieces but am tempted to try some. Has anyone tried his pieces in bronze? Quallity? Tarnishing issues? Any "plating" to wear off? Comments?
