Finally, after receiving too many defective, damaged items, I received a beautiful and new item, the London Blue Topaz ring. Wow, wow, wow, what a stunning ring and a keeper. It was packaged as it should be, and I must admit, I thought it was going to be another return and it was not. The color is gorgeous, the style is big and bold, and the fit couldn't have been better. This is my first piece of LBT and I must admit, it won't be my last. The cut of the stone, because it is so large, is not as wide or round as you would expect an oval stone, it is longer and thinner, and you can see the amount of thought that went into the design of this ring. The setting is very comfortable, no poking your other fingers with the side stones and for a big and bold piece, sometimes that issue is a deal breaker and back the ring will go. There's just enough DQ to balance out the size of the stone and no matter which way you look at it, it is wonderful. I'm delighted. As for the Ruby Monaco, that went back. The setting was scratched, the color of the stone more of a raspberry color instead of Ruby color and the stone looked like it was swirled instead of the usual doublet quality. It could have just been that ring, but, I was hoping for red, and that's not what I received. Since I already have a big bold Amethyst ring, I didn't ask for a replacement in that choice. Hopefully, this will be a regular item for a while, and I will definitely reorder, just will wait until all the returns from her last show are no longer going out to fill waitlist orders. I figure by the summer, inventory should be replenished and my name will be on one. If JR is going to add more colors, then I'll have to collect all colors available, just like the other Monaco's. TeeHee! Hope anyone else that ordered this ring received a perfect one and enjoys it as much as I am enjoying mine. Pug
