The dissidents also criticized the No. 3 home shopping network’s location in remote, and freezing, Minneapolis.
Remote & Freezing Minneapolis? LOL!!! Great Place!

I even checked their existing inventory and nothing new showed up. So I do not know what to think of it.

Good people are already left, I mean Sonia B., Omar Torres,Michelle Albala. I do not see them anymore. They need to bring good people back and keep the remaining good people such as Michael V, Isomers, Skinn,Waterford. They also need the bring back nice Italian leather bags. Maybe anybody remembers Charlie Lapson, The find, Gioia.and they need good gold, maybe Carlo Viani again. The last thing I want is another HSN. Shop has to keep their image of higher end then the others on TV. So will see.I loved Charlie Lapson. I agree, they used to be a lot better, when I first started shopping with them.
I think they need to offer a mix of higher end items and some more affordable things. I've got some Madi Claire bags I really like from 5 or 6 years ago, but I don't so much like the direction they have taken lately.

I resent the implied discrimination against the upper Midwest! lol. Let's hear it for flyover country!!!!!It's probably touch and go as to whether they'll get vendors and other things in and out during some of their frequent winter storms. I imagine there are times when the staff can't get to the studios. QVC has had that problem at times and their weather is not nearly as severe as that of Minneapolis. Don't take it personally

Hey kachina624 ~ Not taking it personally. Just find the comment humorous. I guess you would have to have lived there for a long time (like I did) to realize how the new CEO's comment sounds. I wonder where he is from? Not much shuts down Minneapolis.

Long before the recession, it was a different channel. You had higher quality. With the recession, you know what happened. There were several changes in management. Most of the watch vendors left, leaving Invicta to fill the void.
For a long time, watches were their main source of revenue. You know how that works: if it sells, keep showing it. But at least they had normal rotations. Then someone had the bright idea of marathons. Too much for any normal person to look at. Honestly. (And I like watches)
It was probably the same dim bulb who thought it smart to cease overnight live programming.
Whereas I think changes are needed, we don't need another Q or HSN. So yeah, change is coming.

Here' the sad thing: they're kind of the "odd man out." You have QVC and HSN bringing in national brands and "B-C list celebrities. What's left?
I know people complain about the Q's clothes, HQ's are pretty bad. They bring out gaillion Oneworld shows. (You can find Oneworld in the stores for cheaper if you want it. It's weird you have to throw in some recognizable brands or no one will shop. If they have all this stuff no one has heard of , they won't look there. So don't confuse propaganda from Clinton Group, with reality. I read all that stuff someone had posted in another venue. If it were that easy to turn shop around, I think they would have done it. Of course, I am not excusing the lame management they have had. This is a case study for how not to run a business.
Apart from watches, the only things I have purchased in recent years were from Michael, Sonia and Dmitri. And that's because they are very unique.
Regarding the departure of Sonia, they are still selling her Galerie de Bijoux and as times have better and precious metals prices have gone down, they no longer have to hawk CZs and why damage your credibility and your brand name? Not really sure if she's really gone? Omar Torres had branched off in another direction, I think.
