Need help with Bling Wraps

You know, those strips that are supposed to help you wear a larger size ring? I threw my directions out after reading them, how hard could it be, I thought. Well, now the ends won't stick together when I wrap it around my finger, neither direction. Are these defective or am I doing something wrong?

Find a local, reputable jeweler that does repairs and custom work. They often order ring adapters for customers with rings that for whatever reason, can't be sized. S/he may be able to help you figure out what's wrong.
