the ring has amethyst and very tiny pearls borderng the marquise shape. it's from early 2000 collection. do you know who can help me?

2000 is before I started buying Ripka. Perhaps someone who was familiar with Ripka from then will be able to help you identify the ring if they see your post.

The reason you can't find it in the Ripka collection is that it's by the designer Jennifer Cary, who used to have a collection on QVC years ago. I own this beauty. Original item number is J4849 -- link below. It was a lovely, substantial, well-made collection:
