Necklace Question

Usually with necklaces I like mine to be longer than a lot of the ones CP offers so when there is a 22" or longer necklace offered I jump on it. Sometimes tho when wearing a pendant/enhancer on a 36" necklace I don't think it looks right on me. Something about the length makes me feel the pendant/enhancer gets lost.

So my question is, if you have a 36" necklace, do you double it when you wear a pendant/enhacer or do you wear it long? Just want to get an idea of what others do in case I'm being to critical of myself when wearing the necklace long. Know what I mean? Thanks!
