Yes, the descrirptions say a small is how many inches, but it's not explained whether that's been adjusted for wide band rings (usually need to size up) and wider bangles or cuffs.

@Shanus    Also a bracelet like the TSV with "stations" takes up more room on the wrist.  I have a 7" wrist and the 7 1/4" would be too snug. The 8" way too large.  I need 7 1/2" so I'm out of luck.

For awhile some vendors, esp. J Ripka, were using strange fractions of measurements and in confusing order. I complained. There has been some progress.

 

I'd also like to see pictures of J Ripka jewelry on a model as I still don't trust their measurements.

 

Agree on the sizing up. I'm returning an American West band ring (J395638)

for the next size up. Later reviews mentioned that fact but too late for me. I didn't realize that width would be a problem but with this ring it was.
