I think they are about 13 months old. I bought them around the time of the otv with the introduction of the clad. These were the largest size of three similar style hoops. They were too heavy for my ears, so I only wore them once in the blue moon to church. Tonight when I put my jewelry away, I picked them up out of the box to look at them, and noticed that most of the gold on one of the earrings no longer looked gold, but a dirty looking brown. The gold on the second earring also looked darker, but not brown.

The thing is, I hardly ever wore these, and did not abuse them. The jewerly box is not a silver safe keeper, but the silver part of the earrings looked fine.
