Religion sells.

If that's the case, then they should be selling merchandise for all religions.

I thought I was watching Daystar or 700 Club not QVC!

I actually like the one with the single disk.....don't like the one with the fake pearls.  So I toodled on over to ebay and got one with the single disk (same bracelet) for $12.99 and free shipping!  Smiley Very Happy

Re: My Saint My Hero - Religious Jewely

Could not agree more. QVC has been veering toward religion for some time. Newer hosts freely speak of their faith and beliefs, older ones seem to feel more free also.

For me it is a huge turnoff, and mixes faith with  commercialism. I don't watch.

Notice how extremely rarely nonchristian items are sold, even when there are Jewish vendors.

Why must people wear their religion, sexuality, political leanings on their sleeves? Aren't we each entitled to our own beliefs.

I revoke my previous complaint. I watched the presentations with Shawn and they have quit saying that you're buying a blessing. I never had a problem with the jewelry itself just the claim of buying a blessing.

Re: My Saint My Hero - Religious Jewely

The jewelry is nice and I understand the message that religious jewelry brings to the believer.Personally I would want something that's not gold or silver tone. And want turn my skin green. I wear a  sterling silver16 inch crown heart dog tag. To me Jesus is the king,(the crown), the heart is love which to me is true faith. I never take it off, except to clean it. As I have mentioned before I have a inspiration word charm,(faith, love, hope, believe, etc.)  During a stressful day wearing it I am reminded daily just how blessed I am.

My apologies.  Didn't realize the link was a no-no seeing the brand is being offered here.

That's always been the case. The brand is being offered here, but if you see something you like on their site you like more, then it's direct competition with QVC. QVC only makes  money from items sold on QVC.com, not from sales made on vendor sites.

So well stated IMW!

I've been dealing with someone working in City gov't trying to get me to join her church in order for me to receive coaching from her.   It appalled me and does more to cheapen their faith then promote it.

Well said!

Thanks, I've always wanted the tiny pendant and I ordered it on the SS chain which I had planned to replace with a 14k EG box chain so I hopped over to ebay just to see what they had, canceled my order and bought a gold plated one for the same price, no chain but like I said I already have one.

Re: My Saint My Hero - Religious Jewely

@1Professor, glad you mentioned wearing in the shower.  I was wondering about that.  I like to keep my bracelets on unless I am changing to different ones.

I got the black/gold TSV and they are beautiful.
