is on clearance.  I hardly ever see it presented on TV anymore.  Maybe they're discontinuing Steel By Design?

The prices were great, but the jewelry was super heavy.  I see a lot more steel jewelry for men rather than women in the stores.  I know overall jewelry sales are lower at QVC, and maybe the profit margin is smaller for steel as compared to other metals.

Not all steel jewelry is on clearance; QVC is not discontinuing steel jewelry. They bring in steel jewelry from different manufacturers in the far east and it all gets labelled "Steel by Design" for online only sales. The original concept was that Steel by Design jewelry was Stainless/18K jewelry by the same manufacturers (Milor) QVC used for Italian gold jewelry. 

Some of the older Steel by Design items are still available, such as J-489153, the June 3, 2009 Today's Special Value (but it's $30 more).

@banned again   I'm not sure why you start off saying  "Not all steel jewelry is on clearance."  The very first word in the title of my OP is "most", I said "Most Qvc Steel Jewelry is on Clearance"   I was careful not to say ALL of it is on clearance. Your post wrongly attempts to correct me when no correction is warranted.

Do you work for QVC?   If not, how do you know for a fact they're NOT discontinuing it?  And how are you privy to all this detailed information about "Steel by Design" on QVC?  I'm very curious how you have the inside track on all of this.

@decaf I wasn't correcting you and I'm sorry if it seemed that way. What I meant to say is that there are some steel jewelry items on clearance now for the mid-year clearance (which will be on-air on QVC2 on Tuesday) and some men's designs are on sale for a Father's Day gift sale. 

I have observed that QVC is content to offer collections of jewelry online-only long after the broadcast shows have stopped (Honora Pearls, Suspicion Marcasite, Bronzo Italia, Steel by Design, watches) and collections that have never been on-air (Mistero Black Spinel, Ariva Gemstones, etc.). QVC could decide to stop ordering steel jewelry sometime in the future but this is not the same case as the discontinuation of Louis Dell'Olio fashions for instance, there are different designers and manufacturers involved in steel jewelry although it is all identified as Steel By Design.

You should do that. QVC doesn't make it clear how long their mid-year clearance sale will last.

I'm buying this bracelet.  I have small wrists and like that this starts out small before you add on the extender.  It's easier to shorten sterling silver link bracelets than stainless steel bracelets (I've tried) and I think this will be a little pick me up on my wrist.

@Bird mama  That's so pretty.  I like Steel By Design, especially for bracelets and rings, they're much sturdier than sterling. I have quite a few pieces I've bought through the years. Still wear them. I really hope QVC is not discontinuing the line.

I've had this Steel by Design status link necklace since 2013.  I can't tell you how many times I wore it to work (before I retired, lol).
