Viwanton - I saw a 1 ct solitaire on air a few shows ago and wanted it so badly. Is it on a thin band? I loved it. Waiting for 2015 to roll around and for prices to go down on Moissanite and then I've diving in.

In my opinion, moissanite is completely different from CZ. Moissanite is far superior! I can honestly say that I'd rather have moissanite than diamonds. Really. I have several pieces and they are all amazing. The prices (today) are extremely reasonable for what one gets. I also happen to secretly love the fact that the stones are created and not involved in the whole ("forgive me for saying this") "racket" known as the global diamond industry. Just my humble opinion...... Smiley Happy

I love moissanite! I'm sensitive to the colors on it so I tend to see the tint even on the enhanced stones. But it does not matter..I love it anyhow!!

Many years ago I purchased two stones and set them in 14k stud findings. I had wanted larger diamond studs than the ones I already had, but really didn't want to spend that much (for the quality I would require). I don't like CZs because they just look like cut glass.

So I got these Moissanite stones and made studs with them and they are stunning. They look exactly like diamonds I own. I've even gotten compliments on my stunning 'diamond' earrings from jewelers.

Moissanite is really amazing - oh, and it's not tinged in green like some would have you think. I have a little 1carat diamond solitaire pendant, that I've had for decades. It is stunning in color and clarity. If you put these Moissanite stones next to it you will not tell the difference.
