I recently bought a 1 ct Moissanite solitaire on another shopping channel and I am IN LOVE! I swear, it looks like they made a mistake and put a flawless diamond in the setting. Will definitely be going back for more!

I love moissanite!!! I wear it a lot....all gold - rose gold, yellow gold, stud earrings, leverback earrings, rings, bracelet, pendants.

If you want more, wait until after 2015 (I think) when the patent expires. If it behaves like CZs, it will drop like a stone--no pun intended.

I have several pieces and love them. Larger stones may have a yellow/green/grey tint that don't show in smaller stones.

I hope prices go down after the patent expires, but the cost to produce this stone is high so I am not counting on it.

Fyi.... I have some larger stones and none of them have a yellow/green/grey tint. Mine are all bright white, even the ones that are 15 yrs old.

I too love Moissanite! I have the 2 carat (1carat per ear) stud earrings and a pair of hoop earrings that were recently offered as a Brilliant Find over there. All of the stones are so beautiful and sparkly, and I get many compliments whenever I wear them.

I have heard about the patent expiration forever. It was suppose to be last year or the year before etc. I finally went ahead last year and bought 2 ct total stud earrings and love them. They look more like diamonds than CZs.

I have no hesitation about wearing diamond ""substitutes"" but all of the Moissanite I've ever seen is not sparkly or white or brilliant like good diamonds. Is there a particular brand of Moissanite that I should be looking at?

Everyone has been waiting for the patent to expire. It's 2015 in the US and 2016 in other countries. Don't think it will be as cheap as cz's but the prices will definitely drop -supply and demand 101
