Just received my hoops today and I like them very much. They are small, but that's what I wanted. The stones are more dispersive than the picture shows and the color is slightly more green depending on the angle viewed. I like them so much that I went back to get the pear studs!

Wow, garnets are my birthstone and these are almost the exact same color as my eyes. I may have to try to find these.

I wish my eyes were green! I love that color green. I bet you have beautiful eyes. 

My mint garnet hoops are beautiful. I love garnets because they sparkle. I've been looking at some Demantoid and Spessartite jewelry lately ...these stones are so beautiful as well. Dematoids are highly refractive, almost like a diamond, and I love the soft shade of green they have.

I have one necklace my first DH bought me that has all the various colors of garnets. It is very pretty , but they keep finding new ones. He passed away in 1979 so that necklace is quite old now.

@SilleeMee  I am the only one in my family with green eyes. Mother's side almost everyone had brown eyes and my Dad's side everyone had blue eyes. Somewhere in the ancestory though someone must have had those green eyes! 

My first husband had grey eyes - not that is very unusual.

That's why Demantoid garnets are one of my favorite gemstones.  I wish there were more availability of rings in this stone.

I wish I could wear rings @periwinkle7. But I can't because my fingers are messed up from arthritis. Most of my jewelry is earrings and bracelets. Maybe it's a good thing that I can't wear rings...I think I would be in trouble ...

It is a blessing in disguise! Lol. I have put myself on a ring ban (effective date 2/1/17) because I indulged in too many rings the past 6 months. I love earrings too, but my ears piercing holes are too high and so earrings usually don't lie properly. And I don't want to get a second piercing for the time being. I love hoops, but most of them on my ears end up going sideways instead of facing forward so it looks awkward and wonky on me. Lol. Enjoy your gorgeous Mint earrings!

I received my stud earrings today and they are smaller, but when I put them, they are perfect. They sparkle so much. I wish they have a matching necklace or pendant. Your hoop earrings are gorgeous.  I wish the Q could carry this gem too. But their prices would be not affordable to me. Is this your first purchase with Shop LC?
