I think you will love the ring, it's such a unique piece. I purchased it last year when it was the TSV in the amethyst color, and while it is a much lighter purple color than shown in the pictures, it just has a glow and is really beautiful. If you got the plain MOP one the color won't be an issue, and that one seemed to get the most 5 star reviews. The ring is bold, but somehow not too much, and the silver is substantial. The price today is great for that ring, and I believe it's on 5 easy pays. I am thinking of getting either one of the starry night bangles, or the watch to match it. Hope you enjoy your ring.

I ordered a few MD's pieces today, more than I have JR but the day is young. I wear a lot of his stuff in the spring and summer.

I got that ring too Sheesh! I have it in the mint and love it and bought the MOP for my gf and she loves it.

Michael Dawkins could sell me darn near anything as long as he looks into my eyes....this man gets more handsome every time he's on the Q - IF indeed that's even possible!

Okay I digress....

I too ordered a new bracelet (J289643) by Michael - the 6 3/4" with the large disc crystal dangle charm. I'm so into bracelets like this - love them. Now I can't wait to get it! This in fact is my very first piece of MD, not that I don't L O V E ALL of his designs, I do choose wisely in conjunction with price point.

I don't know. I used to appreciate his line more than I do now. Unlike others, it seems, I was just thinking how he so rarely seems to come up with much that's new... I haven't watched either of his shows, though maybe I'll watch the later one, but looking on-line, nothing has really grabbed me. Then again, I've not had my head turned (enough to buy) by much of anyone's stuff this time around.

With the lineup of designers today, MD is the ONLY one I'd buy. I don't have anything in any of these lines and would never buy anything - except for very old RLM.

I looked at what Robert had on (I believe in the wee hours when few of us watch), most everything was on clearance. That tells me one thing - he's very soon to be phased out. I don't really like much of anything he creates either - nothing I'd buy. I always loved to treat myself to a new pr of fab earrings by RLM but his prices have gone way up for what he offers anymore (in earrings). Never liked any of his Andy Warhol pieces. So sad, REALLY loved Robert's things in his early years.

I always enjoy his shows and like the starry night collection. I decided to buy the starry night station chain bracelet - wish that was the OTO rather than the pearl choice.

I'm trying to use restraint today.

I bought my first piece of MD jewelry today - a black spinel bracelet. Very reasonably priced compared to other items shown by other designers. Can't wait to get it!
