I have over 20 pieces of Michael Anthony 14k, all purchased in the late 90s and early 2000's. All are just as nice now as the day that I purchased them.

Michael Anthony was originally on HSN as a "USA gold" vendor. At the time, all of his pieces were made at a plant in NY state. He also was licensed by the NFL/NHL and other sports to do their logo jewelry. (I have several Flyers 14k pendants, all with the "MA" stamp). QVC actually sold a few pieces of MA jewelry, but did not advertise them as "Michael Anthony", they were just listed as gold made in the USA.

I can't comment on his current offerings. I don't think he makes anything in the US any more and since gold price went sky high, it looks like he has been offering more silver items.

I am talking about his stainless steel items.  I have never purchased any gold items.  In fact I do not purchase because all the gold I have seen on any channel is way way out of my budget

I  have bangles, chains, pendants from when his company was USA Gold.  They are 14K gold and white gold pieces and very good quallity for the price (before gold went through the roof.)

Don't watch HSN anymore so I didn't know the company to stainless steel pieces.  He was always proud of his family's background in the gold jewelry business   But with the price of gold now, the company probably made the right dicision to offer stainless steel to remain in the mass market.

@DesertD said he tends to be preachy - I do remember he had a strong catholic faith so he probably can tend to be preachy at times.   With a strong faith I would think he would be eithical in making his products the best possible in the climate of soaring gold/silver prices.  So that is a good thing.

I have his Guardian Angel pendant on a chain I think he sold.  The pendant is much nicer than the newer one.  The chain is one of the nicest I've ever seen and people, at a distance, think it's diamonds.  I wear this every day and have since mid-2000.  I feel naked without it.

His older pieces were heavier built.  I purchased two pendants and two 14k ropes from him.  They are thicker than a pencil and built to last.  Each is yellow gold with a rose gold smaller rope soldered into the gutter of the larger rope.  I gave the 24" to my son and he has worn it daily for a decade.
