Is Michael Dawkins leaving QVC.  He has not been on lately and a lot of his stuff in on clearance.  I know he is designing furniture and has a store in Manhattan.

I love MD designs, and I jumped on board quickly however I can say that I've had some problems with his jewelry and especially with his Starry Night watch.  I believe that the "stainless steel" watch band is merely coated with a stainless and that the actual band is made of an alloy.  I say this because after wearing it non-stop for a year, the interior of the band started to wear off, leaving spots of darker alloy.  I started to notice it because I had an itching reaction where my watch sat..... then I looked at it and found the areas. The description stated that the watch band was "stainless steel".... and I suppose legally they can say this, however it was some kind of clad or wash, and not solid stainless, which was implied.  

Also some of his linked bracelets and necklaces are hooked together with what looks like rolled links and with wear or accidental pulling, these links will unroll....

Still love his designs, I even bought another watch (from eBay) but don't wear it constantly anymore and am very careful with the pieces I have (and I have a lot)... just very disappointed in the execution of these pieces for the high prices that were asked!

No idea but I agree that he hasn't been on very much and there isn't anything that is particularly new. I have bought his jewelry in the past and I like it but the pricing got higher than I was willing to pay so I stopped purchasing.

I'm wondering if the high prices that all of the "designers" on QVC have been charging has impacted them.  I feel like I can buy jewelry elsewhere that I like more and pay a more reasonble price.  Just my opinion.
