Loving the Sweet Romance!

Watching Sweet Romance on ShopNBC right now. Very impressed with both the pieces and the vendor's fascinating presentation! She made the point that during WWII there was a renaissance of costume jewelry because of the wartime shortage of precious (and a lot of other) metals. Hmm - maybe with the price of gold and silver right now, we're in for another resurgence of good costume jewelry? Nothing too bad about that! I had to try her Cherries Jubilee '40s-style necklace and pin! Too cute! Wish I could have afforded the exquisite peacock glass and the Roman coin and intaglio necklace too! Anyway - can't wait for my cherries and will be interested to check out this new (to me) line (I know it's been around for a while but i have been unaware)! Very impressed with her presentation - informative.
