Love the sentiment behind these... Got two - the pink amethyst and the Swiss blue topaz - to represent my two kids, one girl and one boy. I like that this tradition of the love locks over in Paris - how cool, started by everyday people. I am still eyeing that chrome diopside for my Mother - striking between the black MOP and the green stones. Michael did good, once again...

Yes I agree this love lock is beautiful. I started his charm bracelet about 2 years ago and I get charms when they are a special price.  I am really considering this one, its lovely.  I too love the sentiment behind the love lock.  Another winner for Michael V.  I know you will love yoursSmiley Happy

Unfortunately they just recently took all the locks down for the bridge safety concerns and blocking the view issue. My lock was there too for 3 years....

Oh well, but my key is still in the river forever.

I am not getting MV pendant, something is missing there for me...

Enjoy yours in good health.

This Michael V piece is also meaningful to me - my DH took me to Paris for my 60th birthday and we passed the lock bridge numerous times. It was a magical trip for me. Had to get one of these ( pink amethyst for me).

Hey Sanna, Michael said that they did take down that part of the bridge, however they are on permanet display.  He could not remember where.  Maybe you can google it and find out.  They did not get rid of the locks.  How nice that you were able to add you lock with the others.

The reason he cannot remember is because they are not there anymore.  Half of locks are tossed and the other half is recycled. Depending on the material of the lock. I only hope that my lock is recycled. Trust  me, yellow, I know this for sure. My friends in Paris recently told me that. Generally the Parisians hated this lock business, but tourists are tourists (including myself) and we all want a part of romance that Paris offers.

We put our lock there 2 1/2  years ago,threw1 key into Seine, kept the second and gave our daughter the third key so she could find our lock some day. Little that we knew that it would be taken down😪☹️.

My guess is that Michael and Lynn and myself loved this romantic idea, but none of us knew  that the city of Paris was about to do something about it. But Michael had it in production already, so it is what it is.I have my pictures about this event. And I am hoping to return to Paris one day, I have been there 4  times and would go back again and again.....

Oh do not worry, yellow. As you say I have my key!

And if I knew it is offensive for the locals we wouldn't do that . So many romantic things you can do there.

You are sooo sweet, my friend! Thank you for that.

I almost bought the pink Amy and Swiss blue topaz but didn't in the end. Like Sanna said, something was missing for me too .  Have been to Paris several times and love the city . I did the " lock touristy" thing too . Sad that I won't be able to share it with my twins when we visit next. But I do have beautiful memories of the time. Here is a picture of the announcement for taking down the locks and Sanna is right, some were tossed and some were recycled. Those of you who bought the pendant/ charm , enjoy it . image.jpeg
