For those waiting for Evine orders, despite charging a premium price for shipping, they're using the cheapest possible service. It's that Sure-Post, and one recent order of mine sat in my local post office a week before being delivered. Only when I left a note for the carrier did it show up in my mailbox.

@Kachina624 Hi Kachina. Thanks for the info on the Q and their jewelry shipping problem. It's always a problem when I really wanted an item. I'll wait for it for a while and see if it shows up. As for Evine, I ordered a Skinn product over a month ago and just now received it yesterday. Can ya believe that. Now I have a ring that will sit in the Baltimore, MD post office for probably the same amount of time. Love to know what the problem is there. That ring I ordered has been sitting there for three days now without movement to my local post office. I guess I'll see it a month from now. Nexst time I order anything from Evine I'll get express delivery to avoid that post office.

@aprimo Interesting. I don't remember hearing anything mentioned during the presentation about advance orders. However, it was a new color being offered in this particular style of ring and it sold out quickly so I suppose it is a possibility. I guess I'll just be patient and wait it out.

@windfall Just to note I had ordered the Jai elephant ring from the Q during their designer event and my size wasn't sold out. It's been sitting saying in process also. Now today, all of a sudden it's on backorder. I'm not sure whether to cancel or just wait and see if I ever get it. Usually when I get backorder listed I get the product, but I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens with this one. It's always on an item I really want too. never fails.

Ugh. I hope you won't have to wait too long for your elephant ring. It looks like a beauty. In fact, all of the Jai elephant pieces look beautiful. I bet it will be worth the wait.

One of my three rings arrived today and I am happy with it so it wil keep me satisfied until the others arrive.

But back to rings. As much as I loved the amethyst ring on their video, I am disappointed,it is gaudy and the amethyst has a surface defect( crack). Goes back.

The Ruby one I like better, it is demure, looks smaller then on TV, rubies are tiny. I have much better rubies in my possession. I love SB/Ruby combo, always wanted to have it, my DH doesn't like it.

Good morning,Dallas! The Ruby ring goes back too because the stones have no glow in them. They are good color, but tiny and flat. Oh well.

And yes, I am keeping the pendant, it looks great on all my chains and cords, very stand out piece. Thank you for your moral support!!! So sweet of you.

Hope you will have a nice Valentine day. It is soooo cold in my area , but DH already ran and bought me very pretty peach colored roses. I guess the pendant would be my actual present!

We are staying home and cooking something tonight.

@SANNA Oh my...sorry to hear that the ruby didn't "make the cut", Sanna. As you kindly say, other beautiful pieces will come along which exceed your expectations.

Your celebration of Valentine's day sounds lovely. DH and I went for a special dinner last night and we're hibernating today, too! He had a beautiful arrangement of Birds of Paradise" (my fav) delivered yesterday. We plan to cook together for this evening's dinner...one of the best gifts of all.
