I only own 2 from Ripka.  One is an 18K heart & Key dangle ring my husband purchased form her store in New York.  This was years ago. The other one is a heavy silver bracelet that I still wear with diamond cut, thick beads.  Now that was from QVC.  Nothing wrong with the quality.  The odd part was  they said nothing in the description about rhodium plating.  That bracelet has never tarnished.

@rockygems123   I've bought several items over the years from JTV, kept one and returned the rest.  Quality was poor.  My returns were promptly credited.  I've not heard complaints about their CS.  Quality seems to be hit or miss, but so does QVC's

@Kachina624   Thanks for that info.  Your experience is in line with what I see when finding identifiable to me (i.e. in a box or w/original tags) JTV jewelry.  Not very good quality and doesn't sell well on the resale market.

Will be interesting to see the presentations that will start in August of Judith Ripka, right now only online.  And the prices, yikes.

You have to hunt and peck with JTV, but I've found some extraordinary pieces there. At least they are forthcoming with details for the most part. They even state, for example, whether a sapphire is diffused. They give country of origin on its manufacture and the stones, if applicable.

Whether you get your value on resale?  I don't buy jewelry with an eye toward that; I buy it to wear it.

I'm sure the prices on JR's pieces there will come down when they get closer to an actual presentation show.
