Re: Judith Ripka premiering on HSN in OCT

So I wondered how it would be if the same items are available on the Q and HSN, how would this work in the ordering process?

I tried to order a ring--marked down identically on both sites, but for which I had a coupon to use on HSN.  Interestingly, I noticed that the same ring on the Q was suddenly waitlisted in all sizes, but available in all sizes on HSN.

Then I tried it for another ring.  Same deal.

Perhaps it appears that they will block one site when it's being presented on another.  I didn't go beyond checking these two items out.

JR just mentioned QVC, calling it "your sister channel."

She is on now. Same overpriced jewelry. JR doesn’t look well, lost too much weight ( maybe per doctors advice ) , lots of skin was nipped and tucked. Sorry, fans, she looks older and sickly. Hope she is well....

I agree with her looking just awful!  She had way too much surgery.  Beginnings of a manly look or the famous Cat Lady of NY!

She's hardened and lost that soft feminine look she once had.  Watching now and her face is not moving.  Expressionless  Smiley Sad  oh well

Re: Judith Ripka premiering on HSN in OCT

I was just flicking channels and I stopped to check out HSN.

At first, I wondered who was the rep with the HSN host...holy crow that's Judith Ripka😳😳😳.  I only realized it after she started talking!!!

She was a beautiful woman years ago when I used to watch her shows on Q.  (which I haven't watched jewelry in years).  What a transformation & to me not in a good way🙀

I hope I look half as good when I'm pushing 80.

Same old recycled  overpriced stuff she peddles on QVC.  And by the way she looks awful.  That blonde hair is not at all flattering to her .  And all that surgery she had on her face makes her look like some statue.  Her face  is so stiff --shows no emotion when she smiles or I should say attempts to smile.  This is not a good look for her .  Has she looked in the mirror lately? In an attempt to make herself look younger she has achieved the exact opposite.

Re: Judith Ripka premiering on HSN in OCT

I'm really wondering now that basically both networks have kind of merged - will other things change as well?

I was a long time HSN patron (since 1987) but back in 2013 HSN dropped me as a customer, stating I had too many returns. Believe me I spent plenty $ with them and kept plenty product as well. They toute, like all home shopping networks that they have a 30 day, no questions asked return policy, but when it comes down to it, they hate returns. HSN goes so far as once they cancel your account - your address can never purchase from them again - so if you move and sell your residence - sorry to the new home owner. It's really crazy. So now that the 2 entities are blended - now what? I know I was not the only person that got dropped from HSN back then - I read plenty of blogs that said the same. I always liked HSN - and some of the unique vendors they had - .I figured it was their loss, believe me - again, I spent plenty with that company.

Hopefully they open their eyes and realize that returns are part of online sales. We don't have the luxury of seeing the item in person, feeling it, trying it on, untill we order it and have it shipped to us. There are plenty of rising online companies, coming into the picture that will readily fill the void.

Crazy - the vendors keep floating now between Evine, QVC, HSN and JTV - its all a big blur any more.
